My journey into documentary filmmaking was sparked by a profound curiosity about women and a sincere desire to comprehend the diverse perspectives and experiences of individuals from all walks of life. What sets me apart is my unique approach to documentary storytelling, where truth and empathy are not just elements but the very essence of every frame.

 

Driven by a desire to inspire social change, I craft captivating visual narratives that challenge societal norms, ignite critical thinking, and foster empathy. Whether through intimate character studies or investigative pieces, I leverage the power of filmmaking as a tool for advocacy. In the "Mothers' Room" project, I sought to dismantle cultural barriers and patriarchal structures. By empathizing with these women, I aimed to unveil their true identities and strengths, presenting a fresh perspective on their experiences. However, gaining access to their authentic selves proved challenging. Deeply ingrained cultural norms often made them hesitant to share their innermost thoughts. This enduring struggle fuels my commitment to breaking down these barriers and revealing the underlying truths held within these women.

 

My involvement in various cinematic endeavors, including acting in Jafar Panahi's film and working with his professional team, collaborating on diverse projects, researching specific topics, and crafting compelling narratives, has enriched my understanding of the documentary filmmaking process. More importantly, it has solidified my commitment to ethical storytelling practices. These experiences have not only equipped me with strategies to overcome challenges but have also reinforced my dedication to crafting narratives that uphold moral principles.
